Scrap Metal Recycling Plants

Our scrap metal recycling plants are extremely heavy duty systems designed for processing scrap steel, electronic waste (E-waste/WEEE), aluminum castings and profiles, ELV's (End of Life Vehicles) etc. Our advanced, high impact vertical shredder design developed by our in house R&D department produces clean, dense steel fractions which are ideal for transportation. We offer both medium and high capacity plants which benefit from low maintenance & operational costs, and lower capital investment when compared with traditional systems.

A typical scrap metal recycling plant includes the following components:

• Infeed Conveyor Belt or Hydraulic Loading Bin – easy and even feeding of the material to the system
• Twin Shaft Primary Shredder – shears the scrap metals into strips
• Conveyor Belt – Transfers the trips of material to the Vertical Shredder
• Vertical Shredder – high impact grinding of the shred for size reduction, separation, cleaning and densification of the various fractions
• Discharge conveyor – heavy duty conveyor for discharge of materials
• Central De-dusting Unit – removes dust and fines from the system and filters the air before returning it to atmosphere
• Control Panel

A typical scrap metal recycling plant would be configured as shown below.

The correct combination and sizing of the above listed equipment will provide a reliable, efficient scrap metal recycling system that will produce high quality products ideal for sale, or for use in further processing equipment.

Testing

Prior to delivery from our facility, all our scrap metal recycling systems are set up and tested under "real world" conditions to ensure the plant capacity and quality of the finished products is guaranteed. Customers are welcomed and encouraged to attend these trials to see their plant in operation, receive training on the operation and maintenance of their system, and to see similar equipment in build.
